Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: July 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of Period. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
Health notice
Period is an educational and personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, contraception, fertility treatment, or emergency assistance. Predictions can be incomplete or wrong. Never delay professional care or rely on the app for urgent or high-risk medical decisions.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You may use Period only if you can legally agree to these terms. The app is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required in your country or region. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License and Apple terms
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Period on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the App Store usage rules. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom license agreement is presented for the app. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Period except as required by applicable law.
3. Your records and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of dates, symptoms, notes, preferences, and other information you enter.
- You must use the app lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, overload, bypass, or misuse its security, purchase, analytics, or network functions.
- You should independently verify important dates and health decisions with appropriate professional advice.
- You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Apple Account.
4. Local data and availability
Health profiles and records are primarily stored in the app’s local iOS container. This release does not provide a Period account, cloud synchronization, health-data backup, or data export. Clearing local data or deleting the app may permanently remove information. Device loss, operating-system behavior, storage failure, or app removal may also cause data loss.
Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or business reasons. Network-dependent product, purchase, attribution, and restoration functions may be unavailable without a working connection or when Apple or another provider is unavailable.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and purchases
- Prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, taxes, and the final purchase terms are displayed by the App Store before confirmation.
- Auto-renewable subscriptions renew through your Apple Account unless cancelled within the period required by Apple before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account’s App Store subscription settings. Deleting Period does not cancel a subscription.
- Free trials convert to a paid subscription if not cancelled before the trial ends, subject to Apple’s confirmation and eligibility rules.
- Restoring purchases asks Apple to refresh eligible verified entitlements for the Apple Account in use.
- Refund requests, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
- A lifetime purchase, when offered, provides access to the described Premium features for the supported lifetime of the app; it is not an auto-renewable subscription.
6. Premium features
Premium may include additional content, deeper local insights, expanded recommendations, advanced reminders, and other features identified in the app. The exact offering can evolve over time. A purchase does not guarantee any particular medical outcome, fertility outcome, pregnancy outcome, or continued availability of a third-party service.
7. Privacy and third-party services
The Privacy Policy describes local health storage and the limited information processed by Apple, analytics, attribution, and subscription services. Your use of Apple services and third-party services is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
Period, including its software, design, text, graphics, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you voluntarily provide feedback, it may be used to improve the app without an obligation to compensate you, while your personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Period is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or a specific health result. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or losses caused by reliance on predictions or educational content. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable consumer law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Period at any time. Access may be limited or terminated if you materially violate these terms, misuse the app, threaten its security or other users, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and lawful limitations of liability—will survive.
12. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the app, providers, or law. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For questions about these terms or the app, email support@picksai.vip.
